Does This Sound Like You?
- You’ve rested, done the exercises and followed the advice
- Your pain affects how you move, sleep, think and plan your life
- It comes and goes without a clear reason
- It flares up when you least expect it
- It makes you nervous about moving or committing to plans
- You’ve been told “nothing is wrong” or “just manage it” through medication
- Your scans look “fine,” but nothing has really changed
- What you’ve tried hasn’t given you lasting relief
You’ve tried everything… and yet… you’re still in pain.
If this sounds like you, you’re in the right place.

Understanding the source
Why What You’ve Tried
Hasn’t Fixed Your
Chronic Pain
Most doctors and physicians treat pain by focusing only on muscles, joints or tissues. And that’s exactly why your pain keeps coming back. Pain is created by your nervous system.
Your nervous system is trying to signal to you that it’s holding onto stress, pressure, past experiences or overload. Pain has become the signal your body is using to protect you.
This is why no matter how much you rest or what treatment or medication you take, your pain always comes back.
Here’s What’s Actually Keeping Your Chronic Pain Stuck
This is what almost no one talks about. This is what most people never get told. And this is why so many people stay stuck with chronic pain.

Stored Stress
Your body holds onto unresolved stress long after your mind has “moved on.”

Emotional Load
Unprocessed emotions keep your system stuck in survival mode.

Constant Pressure
Always “coping” trains your nervous system to stay on high alert.

Past Experiences
Old injuries, trauma, or losses can still shape how your body responds today.
Body-Only Treatment vs Whole-System Healing
Body-Only Focused Treatment
❌ Focuses mainly on muscles, joints, and posture
❌ Treats symptoms as isolated problems
❌ Relies heavily on scans and structural findings
❌ Often follows generic rehab protocols
❌May reduce pain temporarily
Body + Nervous System Approach
✅ Supports long-term change
✅ Fully personalised to your body and history
✅ Understands pain even when scans are “normal”
✅ Looks at the root cause of persistent pain
✅ Addresses physical, emotional, and nervous system factors

Are You Ready for A Whole System Approach?
One that doesn’t dismiss your pain.
One that doesn’t tell you to “just manage it.”
One that finally looks at why your body is holding on.
Not just focused on muscles and joints.
Not just focused on scans and symptoms.
But one that focuses on everything underneath that’s been missed.
Because real change doesn’t happen when you treat symptoms (you’re already tried that!)
It happens when you treat the whole system.
What We Do Together Over 12 Weeks
We move through three clear phases. Each one builds on the last. Each one is shaped around you.

Phase One
Making Sense of Your Pain
First, we start making sense of what’s been happening in your body in a way that feels reassuring, not overwhelming.
You begin to understand:
- Why your pain hasn’t followed the “normal” healing timeline
- Why pain can persist even when scans or tests look fine
- Why flare-ups don’t mean you’re damaging yourself
- Why your body has been reacting the way it has
As things start to make sense, fear begins to soften.
Many people feel relief here simply because pain stops feeling so mysterious and their body starts to relax when it no longer feels under threat.

Phase Two
Reducing the Load Your Body Has Been Carrying
Once there’s understanding, we look at how stress, pressure, emotions, and long-held patterns have affected your nervous system, often without you realising it.
As we work through this phase:
- Your body starts to release built-up tension
- Pain becomes less reactive
- Your system spends less time in “high alert”
- You feel calmer and more settled inside your body
This isn’t about digging things up or forcing emotional work.
It’s about helping your body let go of what it no longer needs to carry.

Phase Three
Moving Forward With Confidence
This final phase is about rebuilding trust.
Instead of avoiding movement or pushing through pain, you learn how to:
- Move in ways that feel safe and supportive
- Respond to flare-ups calmly instead of panicking
- Listen to your body without fear
- Gradually return to the activities that matter to you
- Movement starts to feel possible again.
- This is where many people begin to feel like they’re getting their life back.

Here’s How It Works
Over 12 weeks, we work together in a structured, supportive, and fully personalised way so your body can begin to feel safe enough to change.
There’s no generic program. It’s personalised and tailored to you.
Throughout the program, you’ll receive:
- Personalised movement guidance that supports healing without fear
- Nervous system regulation tools to calm overactive pain responses
- Gentle techniques to release built-up stress and tension
- Practical support for sleep, energy and recovery
- Clear guidance for managing flare-ups and medication
- Ongoing adjustments as your body strengthens and settles
So instead of constantly reacting to pain, you learn how to work with your body so you can finally release it.

Why Listen to Me?
Hi, I’m Natalia – Founder of Design To Move
I’m a qualified Physiotherapist with a Master’s in Physiotherapy, and I’ve been working with people in pain since 2009. Over the years, I’ve seen too many clients do everything they were told to rest, do rehab or take medication and still feel stuck.
That’s what led me to look beyond traditional pain treatment.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of body science and nervous system healing. Alongside physical rehabilitation, I use kinesiology and nervous system-based approaches to support the emotional, subconscious, and stress-related patterns that often drive persistent pain.
This whole-system approach allows us to work with your body, not against it, so change can finally happen at a deeper, lasting level.
I take a whole system approach.
Body and nervous system.
Physical and emotional.
Together.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from physiotherapy?
Traditional physio focuses mainly on structure and movement.
Beyond Chronic Pain works with your nervous system, emotional load, stress patterns, and physical body together which is essential for long-term change.
Will this work if my scans are “normal”?
Yes.Many people with chronic pain have “normal” scans. That doesn’t mean nothing is wrong. It means the nervous system is involved.
Do I have to talk about trauma or emotions?
No. You get to choose how much you share, you’ll still get amazing results without sharing. We work at your pace and in ways that feel safe. Your body leads the process.
Is this suitable if I’ve had pain for years?
Yes. Many clients have lived with pain for years before starting. Chronic pain doesn’t mean permanent pain, if it’s treated the right way.
What results can I expect?
Everyone is different. But clients commonly experience:
Reduced pain intensity
Fewer flare-ups
Better sleep
Increased confidence
Improved movement
